1. Who we are

OMOM Ltd is a software development company registered in England and Wales. Our Companies House registration number is 16305398. Our registered office address is 2 Canons Close, Narborough, Leicester, England, LE19 3FL.

OMOM Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. For any questions about this policy or to exercise your rights, contact us at omomgeneralenquiries@omom.uk.

2. What data we collect and why

We collect personal data only when you voluntarily submit our contact form. The data collected is:

  • Name — to address you correctly in our response
  • Email address — to reply to your enquiry
  • Company name (optional) — to understand your business context
  • Message — the content of your enquiry

We do not collect any special category data (e.g. health information, political opinions) and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18.

3. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR — specifically, to receive and respond to business enquiries. We have assessed that this processing does not override your interests or rights, given that you have actively chosen to contact us and the data is used only to respond to your message.

4. How we use your data

We use the information you provide solely to:

  • Respond to your enquiry
  • Follow up on any potential business engagement arising from your message

We will never use your contact form data to send unsolicited marketing communications.

5. Data processors and third parties

We use the following third-party service providers to operate this website. Each acts as a data processor under a written agreement with us:

  • Resend — used to deliver contact form submissions to our inbox. Resend processes the name, email, company, and message you submit.
  • Vercel — used to host and serve this website. Vercel may process connection metadata (e.g. IP address, request headers) as part of standard web hosting.
  • Vercel Analytics — used to understand how visitors use this website. Vercel Analytics is privacy-friendly: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint individual users, and does not collect personally identifiable information.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with any third party. We may disclose data if required to do so by law or by a competent authority.

6. International data transfers

Resend and Vercel are US-based companies. When you submit the contact form, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States. These transfers are made under appropriate safeguards — specifically, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses — ensuring your data receives a level of protection equivalent to UK GDPR requirements.

7. Data retention

We retain enquiry data for up to 2 years from the date of receipt, or for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected (e.g. the duration of a business relationship). After this period, data is securely deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time — see section 8 below.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Right to restriction — request that we limit how we use your data
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests

To exercise any of these rights, email us at omomgeneralenquiries@omom.uk. We will respond within one month as required by law.

9. Right to complain

If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK's supervisory authority:

Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
Website: ico.org.uk
Helpline: 0303 123 1113

We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns directly before you contact the ICO, so please reach out to us first.

10. Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Vercel Analytics operates without cookies. We may use essential session cookies required for the website to function correctly; these do not store any personal information and do not require your consent under PECR.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
