OMOM is committed to protecting children who use PicaFlic. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind, and we design our features with the safety of younger users in mind from the ground up — not as an afterthought.
Users who are registered as under the age of 13 do not have access to any messaging features within PicaFlic. This includes direct messages, group chats, and any other feature that would let them send or receive messages from other users. This restriction cannot be turned on or bypassed from within the app.
PicaFlic only surfaces films that are appropriate for a user's registered age group. Content recommendations, search results, and browsing within the app are filtered against age ratings so that users — children included — are never shown films intended for an older audience.
Families using the PicaFlic Family Plan give parents and guardians direct control over their children's experience. Parents can set up child accounts within the family group and manage exactly what content is shown to each child, giving families confidence that what their kids see in PicaFlic is appropriate for them.
If you believe a child is at risk, or you want to report content or behaviour on PicaFlic that concerns you, please contact us immediately at omomgeneralenquiries@omom.uk. We review all reports involving child safety as a priority and will take appropriate action, including removing content and suspending accounts where necessary.
Oliver Burrows, on behalf of OMOM, is the designated point of contact for child safety matters relating to PicaFlic and can be reached at omomgeneralenquiries@omom.uk.
We may update these child safety standards as PicaFlic evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions for more information about how we handle data and conduct on PicaFlic.
